K.L. Randis, Kelly, was born and raised in Bayshore, NY. She is the second oldest in a family of seven siblings. Marrying her high school sweetheart shortly after college, she spent nearly three years writing her first novel, Spilled Milk, which chronicled her time in the courtroom testifying against her sexually abusive father. She now spends her time being a mama to two children who look 100% like her husband, writing books that are "fictional realism" to make people ugly cry, and recently moved back to Pennsylvania to be closer to family as she undergoes treatment for cancer.
